ORION CHARTERS - (SPINEY DOG FISH)  Dog Sharks

Dog sharks are considered trash fish and are normally released.  Usually we try not to fish in places where they are.  

 
April 1998 - Spiney Dog Fish are present all year long in Prince William Sound.   These are caught incidentally while fishing for halibut.  Dog Sharks are normally 24" to 48" long.   We normally release dog sharks, however these people wanted to keep them.

   ¬ 2 Dog Sharks (Spiney Dog Fish) 42", 48" with 9 small halibut
